Shannon Madison M.D.
Dr. Madison is originally from Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate degree at Miami University of Ohio with a B.S. in Zoology and a minor in Spanish. She received her MD from University of Cincinnati in 2014 and completed her residency at Wright State University in 2018, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Dennis D. Barber Academic Achievement award. Upon graduation, she joined the OBGYN faculty at Wright State University and received the Physician Role Model Award and the CREOG National Faculty Award that year.
She then moved to Michigan while her husband, Dr. Chris Madison, completed his training in Cardiology. While there, she initially worked as a solo OBGYN for a small Christian nonprofit and joined a larger private practice after starting her family.
Dr. Madison is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of CMDA. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. She is passionate about educating her patients and helping them feel comfortable in all situations, whether exciting, vulnerable or challenging.
Dr. Madison and her husband are excited to be closer to family and put roots down in Nashville. She enjoys cooking, being involved at her church, traveling to Spanish speaking countries and spending time with her husband and children.
