Dr. Diane George, MD Board Certified M.D. F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. George graduated from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) with a BS degree in Medical Technology/ Microbiology and received her MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio in 1986. She completed an internship at the University of Tennessee HSC-Memphis and then completed her training at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS. She has an advanced degree in immunohematology, also from U of Texas. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. George served in the US Air Force for 6 years. She is a member of the Nashville Flute Choir, considers herself a church musician, and plays flute, harp, and piano. She is a member of the Nashville Academy of Medicine, The American Legion, National Flute Association, The American Needlepoint Guild, and The Jayhawk Society. Her son is also a musician and is serving in the US Air Force as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. So far, she has 2 grandchildren and a granddog.
